Embedded Systems 13 jan
The master's degree programme in Embedded Systems is a joint programme of the 3TU federation; a federation of the three technical universities in the Netherlands. For more information about this federation and about the Embedded Systems programmes at the partner institutions, follow the links in the Partners-menu on the left.
The Embedded Systems course focuses the design methodology of embedded systems (a combination of hardware and software, either fixed in capability or programmable that is specifically designed for a particular kind of application device).
Students can specialize in a wide spectrum of topics ranging from control engineering, integrated circuit design, computer architecture, communication networks, real-time operating systems to software engineering and formal methods for embedded applications.
Bridging courses for students from HBO and other Dutch university Bachelor programmes in related fields of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering are offered. Also foreign students from universities with an international reputation holding a Bachelor degree or more and who have obtained good results in their study programma related to EE or CS can be admitted.
Participating Chairs UT are:
- Control Engineering (CE)
- Integrated Circuit Design (ICD)
- Signals and Systems (SAS)
- Computer Architecture for Embedded Systems (CAES)
- Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS)
- Formal Methods and Tools (FMT)
- Pervasive Systems (PS)
